Hello,
I go to a US high school and I have a huge passion for languages. I know that a lot of colleges require you to study abroad if you major in a language. So, I was wondering if it was more beneficial to study in the country itself since you would be more immersed in the culture and language. Any input would help greatly!!

I intend to spend an exchange semester in Europe (not yet decided where) and from my friends who already studied abroad I can tell you that they improved their language skills tremendously. :)

Last year I went to Buenos-Aires,Argentina to study at a language school Buenos Aires Centre. Before the journey I couldn't speak, I couldn't explain what I meant. And after the intensive course of Spanish, I improved my knowledge of the language, I started speaking Spanish, knew a lot about the country, about its history, and there I found my true friend

hello intango,

that's a great experience studying abroad and learn other people culture,
sound so interesting. will, I don't have some experience in regard to education abroad.
but my dad had. Am so proud of him you know?he studied 3 languages; "German,Italian and English".
He crossed enroll in a German Language School for the German language, Italian Language School for the Italian language and most of all in an English Language School for the International Language English.

Very awesome, By now, am preparing myself to go abroad to study
different languages like what my dad had been experienced.

wish me luck guys,,,
