Hi,
I'm 21 right now and I'm finishing my millitary service in IDF(Israel) in a year.
So I don't know where to go to university. I pretty much prefer to join university in states but I'm going to be 23 or 24 by the time I'm going there while averege students are 18 when they join... From the other side here in Israel it's totaly acepteble to do to university when you even 25 or more. So I'd like to hear what your thoughts are...
Thanks:)

There is no age limits to study in the U.S. the only prerequisite is that you must hold have graduated from high school and of course that you can prove this. You will also need to take the SAT I or ACT and some universities will also require you take the SAT II: Subject Tests in addition to either the SAT I or ACT.

I agree with posted reply above...
And yes, just to encourage you, I am going to University, and I am few months from being 25 years old. Still have a year to go. There are kids younger than me, and for sure some people that are already raising families, having full time jobs, and going to school part time...

no worries, and anyways, Israel is number one country receiving U.S.' foreign help. you should not have problems..

There is no age limit in entering any of the universities. The most important thing is to have an education which is comparable to the high school graduates in the united states. besides be sure to check on school requirements and take a standardized test like SAT or ACT to enhance your chances. Keep it up and good luck.

Online Universities are an option. Some dont even ask for SAT's just an entrance test, depending on your study field, high school diploma or GED. I know some actually have veteran and active duty rates of tuition and you can enroll from abroad. Look at Kaplan University and University of Pheonix
