I have been in school for 3 good years and i maintained my status religiously. I attended a community college and i Just graduated in May meaning my !-20 Just expired like that. Am still within my 60 days grace period and right now i have only 22days left.
I won DV lottery last yr and i am following up on it, i even went for the last interview and the guy told me i should get it in the mail, only to receive a letter from department of homeland security asking me to prove my current status as it shows in the record.
am in the process of transferring to a state Uni but they will not b able to issue me a new 1-20 on time, since started kinda late the whole process.
How do i prove my status? am in the middle, what do i send those folks so they can process my case? i don't have OPT......ghrrr.......
