Greeting everyone,
I'm an international who is supposed to transfer to University of Houston in Fall 2010 AND I already got their I-20. But now I really want to go on a vacation inside the US for one semester. So:
- Can I defer my admission to Spring 2011? - If i choose to defer, will I be admitted automatically in spring or my application will have to go through another review process? - Is it legal for me to not going to school for one semester? Or the law require me to be in school every Fall and Spring?
I'm planning on traveling and visiting my relatives in several states and spend time with them. I'm staying inside the US, not going back to my country, does that make any difference?
I really need the information to make a decision soon, so any reply within 1 or 2 days would be deeply deeply appreciated.
