I am using Common App to apply to some of the top Liberal Arts Colleges and Universities.
However, I can not check the Financial Aid box on the Commonapp site because I don't have a social security number.
Do I apply for financial aid/merit/scholarships after I get accepted by the colleges/universities?

You have to apply School Aids, Merits, and Scholarship before you apply to your school. Because your school is gonna need information about how will you pay your tuition, etc. Is it from your own, or from School Aids, Merits, and Scholarship..
