Hi I'm an American citizen trying to find some kind of financial aid to finish my studies in Poland. I have a good credit history and co-signers but the school I'm attending isn't on the US Dept of Education approved list. It's the Polish Film School which is a great school. Does anyone have any suggestions about any kind of financial aid that I could apply for? It's not a huge amount of money. Thanks for your help!
Unfortunately you won't find any US-based student loan programs that will cover your school right now. Without the US Department of Education approval, which takes time and effort by the school, there are not any loan programs available to you.
Really the best thing you can do is ask the school. If they don't know of any special financing programs available to their students, then there aren't any.
Dear Keith, I have the same problem. However, do you know the process of getting registered with the US government? I would be willing to point the University that I got accepted in, into the right direction. Thanks. Jerry
