Hey,

I'm planning on applying for a 2011 spring semester at a college in New Jersey, at i would guess a community college? Now i'm no expert in these things, i don't really know what colleges accept what students under what conditions, and that's what why i'm asking here. I'm german and my girlfriend lives in NJ, and we want to start taking steps ahead. I'm making the big step since she's already studying, and i want to continue my education anyway. Now, i would really like to know what chances i have and in what ways i should approach this whole thing.

Thanks in advance,

Jonas

I agree with Femiluv. You need to start by researching the school's web site. Look for international admissions. You should find the requirements as well as an on-line and/or downloadable application.

If you can't find information you are looking for, there shoudl be a contact e-mail or phone number that you or your girlfriend could use to get more specific information.

You should be submitting application packets now for consideration for the january 2011 semester.

I found my college and i'm ready to apply. Gonna be the Brookdale Community College in New Jersey. Application deadline is october 1 so i should be fine, considering it's a community college.
