Post subject: Will a missing previous I-20 be a problem during re-entry?

Hi,
I am about to travel overseas for a few days. I recently transferred from Univ X to Univ Y. I just discovered that I have lost one of my previous I-20s from Univ X. I have all the other I-20s that X issued to me except for this one. And this was the one with the immigration official's stamp on it!
The OIA at Univ X were nice enough to send me a photocopy from their archive. I was told by my current OIA adviser (at Univ Y) that only my current 'travel-endorsed' I-20 was necessary for re-entry but wouldnt tell me what I was supposed to do if they asked to see my previous original I-20s. I have a photocopy of that missing I-20 but am worried that that may not suffice. I fly in two days from now! I would be very grateful if you could let me know whether it's safe to travel in this situation. I'd rather cancel my ticket than face the possibility of being refused re-entry.
I have ALL other documents in order(valid visa, endorsed current I-20) except for this missing initial I-20.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance,
