Hi,
I have recently applied for OPT, and have received a letter which states that additional information is required to process my case. Here are some of the additional information required:
1. Copy of the original I-20 issued
2. Transcript of all pervious education
3. Date of graduation
I am concerned about why would they need copy of original I-20 and transcript of pervious education?
Has anyone been asked to submit such proof?
Also, my employer had sponsored my education from abroad, will this affect my OPT?

The first thing I would say is "have you contacted your international advisor at school?". This should be the first place to ask questions about your OPT application and see if they can provide you with any guidance.
