Dear Friend,

If you look at the new FLRS form, there is a section for NI number. YOu need to fill that in if you are gonna extend your student visa. They are probably checking whole tax year of NI contribution and tax. This has been done to send as many student back as possible. So many Bulgarian and romanian are coming to uk. They are not finding jobs in uk. And students here are working in supermarkets, sometimes 70 hours a week. Homeoffice reminds all the students that you can only work 20hours during the term time. If you have done 1 hour more in a week, that is a breach of rules and regulations. They can refuse you in that ground.

these english people are leaving the terrorists to stay in thecountry and accomodating them properly, but rejecting innocent students who work more than 20 hrs, still students are indirectly growing the government in the way of paying tax, NI, travelling expenses, food, etc...
but those english bastards are sending students back to their home country because they have crossed the limit of working more than 20 hrs, that is not a criminal offence. instead they could have given them warning or some work visa or caution them that not to work more than 20 hrs.

Its time to create a revolution, all international students have to go on strike and let them show that without students they cant run the society, all supermarket workers, warehouse workers, low level and high level employed students, restaurents, cafe's, small shops etcc.., there may be 100000 of students are here working more than full time, let see how they run the store without them.

As i told you guys it was very true. Some of my friends couldnot get entry via heathrow because of NI check. He was working more hours i heard. Some people are getting away by going direct to Homeoffice for visa extension. Some case worker cant be bothered to check. I have send my paslip recently for extension. will let you guys know what happens.

Should we contact NUS about it and organize something??

so does that mean that it is better to go for visa extension directly to home office rather then doing it via post.
If you contact NUS about it i dont think they can do somethin about it.

Is any of u guys working more then 20 hours?????

I have applied for extension via post in march. They have asked me for emplyment letter and Payslip. since i got a government job they did believe my case. I worked 19.30 hours for last two years. They have given me visa of exactly one year only from a college. They didnot give me visa for the duration of course. There is a big chance they would check your payslip in details. some people did get away working 40 hours even. last month one of my close friend got away with it. He went direct to visa office. They are checking randomly. Or most of the cases they are checking and some they are not checking in details. Case worker might be busy with lot of applications and if you have most of your documents right they would give you visa.

Did they not ask him about it.

Has any of you actually seen the new FLR(S) form. is it true that they have included that NI Number field in it?

Also wat happens if you dont fill that field in?

I only started workin about a one and a half month ago. my contract is 20 hours a week. In the first month i did some over time but now i have stopped it. now i only do 20 hours a week ever since i have heard this roumer. Its only one and a half month left in summer holidays so i will wait till summer holidays and then in summer i will beat the * out of work coz they say that u can work as much as u want in holidays so chill time for now
:D

It is true that you can work as much as you can in summer or in any holiday like easter period providing ur institution is closed. Yeas i have seen the FLRS form and they do have column for NI. check the thread before you you would find a link to it. If thats not true , why the included the NI number, you guys tell me. They have included it for a purpose.

I got more cases now, if anybody need help reply in this board ok.
